Trash Guide
In Japan, public trash bins can be rare. Plan for temporary carry until proper disposal.
- Carry a small bag and keep trash with you until you find a valid spot.
- Convenience stores may allow disposal for items purchased there.
- Large stations sometimes have sorted bins near ticket gates.
- Separate bottles/cans/plastic when requested.
Do not leave bags on streets or around landmarks.
